Churchill Spring Ball

Get ready to enter a world of illusion and colour as the Mirage comes to Churchill College Spring Ball on 11th February. This year’s event will be headlined by Big Narstie, one of the biggest names in grime and a huge YouTube personality. There will also be a range of Cambridge’s best local bands, a silent disco, a wide and unlimited supply of food and drink, and of course Churchill’s famous casino.

Tickets are on sale for only £95 for a stellar night you won’t forget. Groups of 5-8 can access a £10 discount per ticket whilst groups of nine or more can access a £15 discount per ticket

Smartphone Psychology Study


Healthy volunteers WANTED for a paid research study at the University of Cambridge

The study consists of two visits (one week apart) at our laboratory
where you will complete questionnaires, computer-based cognitive tests
(3 hours/visit), record a video of yourself, and be exposed to
potentially anxiety inducing objects. Between the visits you will
perform brief tasks on your smartphone, a few times a day. You must be
between 18-65 years to partake in this study, and should own a
smartphone (Android/iPhone). Volunteers will be paid for completion of
the study (£7.5 per hour), and travel expenses will be covered. The
study will take place at the Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience
Institute (BCNI), Downing site (City Centre).

This study involves doing a short questionnaire online (ca. 5 min).
Depending on your answers, we may invite you for a brief phone interview
to determine your eligibility to participate in the study.

You can NOT participate if you are currently pregnant, are suffering

Jesus College May Ball Applications

Applications to work at the Jesus College May Ball 2017 on Monday 19th June are open! For the opportunity to experience one of the largest May Balls in Cambridge while earning money, complete an application before 12th February by following the link below. You will also find more information on the May Ball and the job positions available. are a variety of roles available, including Food and Drink workers, Security Stewards, and Entertainment Runners, as well as opportunities to take on a leadership position as a Team Leader or Court Supervisor. Previous experience in hospitality or May Balls is not essential for most roles.
